mantis shrimp that's GREEN :S
sponges!
A REALLY BEAUTIFUL SEA WATER FISH THAT WE TRIED TO CATCH!

anddd.... star fish with 7 legs,
and.. big clams..
and many many others!
it's very cool cos we spot stuffs den we'll ask ida about them,
and she'll tell us so much more about the creatures :D

other than that, we're brought to this place..

at gorge walk, we went to this point lookout to stay for near an hr i think?
sadly we didnt see any signs of any whales,
but spotted dolphins! ALOT OF THEM!
and according to ida,
they are SURFING!

during that period of time,
three of us could like.. identify these creatures' phylums and classes
without the usage of the guidebook alr..
that's what happens when you have to keep spotting minute little planktons
in your collected sediment under the really fustrating microscope!
btw i took this pic through the lens of the microscope! :D

this is what michele's grp worked on..
HERMIT CRABS!
they had to go to the site and collect THREE HUNDRED hermit crabs!
they do until wanna die liddat LOL!
but anyways, their specimen kept me so very awake,
and becos of that,
I WITNESSED THE HERMIT CRABS CHANGING THEIR SHELLS!
aft witnessing that onwards, i CANNOT STOP LAUGHING!
you should see how they change their shells, and you'll understand why!

this is a mud land, and as you walk further towards the sea,

DAMN FUNNY YOU KNOW OR NOT!
lani had her shoe stuck so deep, that when she finally managed to tug her feet out of the mud,
her shoe was stuck inside!
and we all used our hands to dig the mud for the shoe, but CANNOT FIND IT!
so lani decided to forgo the thought of retrieving her shoe back HAHA!

there were times whereby you get so stuck inside that even the two strongest male cannot pull you out of it!
that's what happened to huixin!
LOL!! very funny, man!
we wasted alot of energy here, mostly is trying to get ourselves out of the mud!

by the time bagus cast the net and returned aft a big round,
HE IS PERSPIRING LIKE MAD!
hahahah, cos of the energy used to move about the place!

i envy tp students!

when im damn low, welson will be there!
and he will sing to me, becos he knows when i listen to him sing,
i'll feel much better by the time our phone conver ended!

discovery camp was FUN
altho it was tiring with a total of only 5 hrs of sleep for two days,
but it was damn cool!
HAHA!

JJ FACS & PLANNERS !

it was tiring cos we are sort of the the main co-organiser for this camp.
we run everything,
i think the facs were awesome ppl, cos their job was tough as they knew no one from their group at first!
and the planners abit slack , ahhhh! haha, as in compared to the facs, cos ours was mostly done BEFORE camp, whilst facs' during camp itself.

thx to vivian la, it's stuck in my head since the day we first stayed overnight.
LOL!
vivians were great, haha!

the first night i've learnt the mass dance,
cos we were supposed to have mass dance display,
and cos viv cannot dance, vian has to take over.
and they need 2 other dance display ppl.
so si han, jin guo, jason and i were supposed to be the ones tp accompany vian and richie.
IN THE END NO MASS DANCE DISPLAY!
i nvr even get to dance chori chori !
sad, you know! ):
hahah!

i went ard with yi qian most of the time, and cheryl too, in the camp itself.

CLARENCE & VIV(spelt so to differentiate 2 vivians) so CUTE!

in the end....

BEAST, grp eight emerged as the champion!

There is an exciting turn of events tonight as Universal Studios and the people behind Harry Potter announced that there will in fact be a Hogwarts type theme park at Universal Studios (Islands of Adventure) in Orlando, Florida called "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter."

You can now see some gorgeous high res concept art for this new theme park, including an overview of the theme park, Hogsmeade village square and the very cool Hogwarts castle.

This announcement confirms the rumors that have persisted for some time; now this is to be fact with the park due to open in early 2010.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling said "“The plans I’ve seen look incredibly exciting, and I don’t think fans of the books or films will be disappointed.”

Hosted by Harry Potter movie production designer Stuart Craig in a special webcast from Dumbledore's Office set at Leavesden Studios in England for various sites including TLC, you can now see video of this announcement on our YouTube channel. Among the details revealed were:

This new theme park will include facets such as a Hogsmeade section, the Forbidden Forest, and even Hogwarts Castle where you will actually be able to walk inside a replication of the beloved castle.
J.K. Rowling is described as having been "very involved" in the creating and planning of this park since the begining, and is very supportive of this new park.
Mr. Craig has been actively designing the project starting in January of this year, while Universal has been planning for two years previously.

A "British" environment is to be maintained, including the food served, and mannerisms of the staff.
The park is aimed at fans of both the movies and books, geared for fans of all ages or as they said " 7 to 67"
Will incorporate elements of all the Harry Potter novels, books one through seven.
A more expansive and complete look of the total environment of Hogsmeade is likely.
