and there's alot alot more! we saw the SEA CUCUMBER! got orange ones, which are poisonous! cos some of the grps had completed their projs and our research tutor, IDA brought us out to the sea to spot for creatures (:
thus, we saw many many stuffs, like cow fish, weird sea cucumber, mantis shrimp that's GREEN :S sponges! A REALLY BEAUTIFUL SEA WATER FISH THAT WE TRIED TO CATCH! and corals, anddd.... star fish with 7 legs, and.. big clams.. and many many others! it's very cool cos we spot stuffs den we'll ask ida about them, and she'll tell us so much more about the creatures :D

at gorge walk, we went to this point lookout to stay for near an hr i think? sadly we didnt see any signs of any whales, but spotted dolphins! ALOT OF THEM! and according to ida, they are SURFING! you'll see the dolphins riding with the big waves! and some jumped! (:

and.. this is what we (huixin, bagus and i) worked on for our research..
PLANKTON! during that period of time, three of us could like.. identify these creatures' phylums and classes without the usage of the guidebook alr.. that's what happens when you have to keep spotting minute little planktons in your collected sediment under the really fustrating microscope! btw i took this pic through the lens of the microscope! :D
this is what michele's grp worked on.. HERMIT CRABS! they had to go to the site and collect THREE HUNDRED hermit crabs! they do until wanna die liddat LOL! but anyways, their specimen kept me so very awake, and becos of that, I WITNESSED THE HERMIT CRABS CHANGING THEIR SHELLS! aft witnessing that onwards, i CANNOT STOP LAUGHING! you should see how they change their shells, and you'll understand why!
FRIES! damn big box i tell you! i think it was a 30x20 box fully filled with chips! so sinful..
and you wanna know the FUNNIEST, HORRIFYING experience?!
this is where it took place! seemed harmless, right? ure so wrong! this is a mud land, and as you walk further towards the sea, YOU WILL START TO SINK! DAMN FUNNY YOU KNOW OR NOT! lani had her shoe stuck so deep, that when she finally managed to tug her feet out of the mud, her shoe was stuck inside! and we all used our hands to dig the mud for the shoe, but CANNOT FIND IT! so lani decided to forgo the thought of retrieving her shoe back HAHA!
there were times whereby you get so stuck inside that even the two strongest male cannot pull you out of it! that's what happened to huixin! LOL!! very funny, man! we wasted alot of energy here, mostly is trying to get ourselves out of the mud!
and this is what we're supposed to do! cast a net to see what animals live here! by the time bagus cast the net and returned aft a big round, HE IS PERSPIRING LIKE MAD! hahahah, cos of the energy used to move about the place!
some of us girls went to stroll round straddie (the shortened name for stradbroke island) and we net these bunch of very cute children! so anyhoos, these are two of the five others! the left is River, the right is Valley! they're RIVER VALLEY, two sisters! cool name (:

discover camp reminds me of what happened while i was on my way to hockey trng jus now! during DC, jin guo likes to say my name in the sha-sha-fen-bu-qing-chu way.. den while i was on the way to trng today, i heard someone saying.. "XING XIAN, SING SUEN, SHA SHA FEN BU QING CHU"! i turned and saw jin guo, HAHAH! joker la, that guy..!
