I hope the next 20 weeks or so will quicken its pace!!

I have been wanting to update this little journal, 'cos while looking back at old entries, I realised blogs are actually great in preserving nice memories of one's Life.

So, I will try my best at updating, but, I usually get tired after uploading and editing the pictures. /:

Mummy will always ask if I'm settling well.

I don't fancy the lifestyle in Brissy, largely 'cos I'm used to hanging out after 6pm in Singapore.

In Brissy, almost everything is closed by 6pm.

Not much nightlife here, and nightlife is generally just drinks on fridays and saturdays!

So... I guess I should see it as a good thing, 'cos now I wake up earlier!

But I still sleep at 2AM. /:

I have super uber nice housemates Shea Mei and Ly Vern, and I'm sharing a room with Shea Mei!

I'm glad I have the gym, 'cos where I reside is equivalent to a combination of a condo and a hotel.

Like, there's security, receptions, gym, pool, security swipe cards, yada.....

Super lacking of resources!

And the pair of wedges died on me within days! Super sad!

SHOES, I NEED YOU!

Can't wait to go back to Singapore and spam heels! It's almost impossible to walk in heels here! Too much steep slopes. ):

Anyway I managed to put up the cork board without any hooks!

Took me quite a while to think how I should place it against the wall, 'cos if it falls, it's gonna land on my head!

Within the first week that I moved in, my hsemates told me that Flora's birthday's on the way!

Flora's the girl who gave up her rental, and I took it.

She's a really cute, sweet and bubbly girl that still drops by the apartment to catch up!

That day 3 of us went down to Hillsong church to attend the church session as Flora's birthday party is organised by her church mates.

Apparently, it was Brissy Hillsong's 1st anniversary. If I'm not mistaken.

The people baked small goodies as refreshments!

We took a ride in one of their friends Karmen's car to the park where the party is held at.

It is exactly how you see it in TV series! :D

If I'm not wrong, the guys brought this bbq grill over 'cos they didn't manage to secure a pit in the park!

I was so intrigued by the colours and the way the trees' were aligned, so I took another picture!

I don't know if you can see this, but notice the little girl dressing up as Tinkerbell on the right side of the playground thingy? So cute! She wore wings! To the park! :O

By now I realised this is the standard Aussie bbq, which is really dull compared to Singapore's!

This adorable little boy walked towards our area! Must be the smell!!!! (:

Then adorable little boy started rubbing his eyes, and looked like he's gonna cry!!!! ): Must be the sand!

Well, the boy did cry eventually and his mummy came to the rescue!

That was a nice event, 'cos I met many people and Flora turned 21! (:

Can't wait for my 21st hahaha!

There's not much good food here in Brissy, must be due to the fact that Sg has got too much to offer!

So I've to appreciate the little things here...

My hsemates brought me to Sunnybank, where the Dim Sum was super awesomely good!

And we went to eat at this dessert store!

They specialise in shaved ice, which is not like ice kacang!!

It's actually super soft, and is flavoured!

I tried the mango one, which is really too sweet!

Shea Mei had the lychee one, which I personally like a lot!

Jeff, a friend of my hsemates ordered the green tea one. It's more like ice cream than ice, haha!

I've been piggy out so much (obviously gained weight), I have started to gym more and eat healthier!

Let me shed 10 kilos, in time for my 21st (:
